so everyone's heard of arnis right? well if you're Filipino you probably know what i'm talking about... the deadly filipino martial art of stick fighting.

well, this kid in the anderson's martial arts studio (where I take capoeira) was talking to me about another filipino martial art... the deadly art of biting, aka kina mutai. no joke! more precisely, it's the "devastating filipino art of biting, pinching, and gouging". some target biting points include: the carotid artery (right by the adam's apple), the femoral artery (inner thigh by the groin), and the nipples! so primal and unsanitary, not to mention messy (you practice on raw pieces of meat)... but then again, i imagine it's very effective.

kina mutai is kinda like dinuguan (chocolate meat or... pig blood stew). should i be parading this information around about my heritage or keep it hidden in my closet? haha... well, with time i've actually come to like dinuguan...
