manigong bagong taon

so 2005 is almost done and i think i'm almost sad. looking back i guess it's been kind of crazy. i've gone through 1 internship and 2 jobs (including the one i'm in right now). the working world has yet to impress me. i went from pre-med to pre-environmental health to wanting to be a marine biologist. i went to the Dominican Republic, where the idea of the team Kenny surf shop was born. i went to Italy to visit my cousin and was thoroughly impressed with my family's ability to travel backpacker-style. i saw Snoop on the slope. i still don't have car (call me a dorky professor-type but i think when i do get a car, i'll want a hybrid), but i was able to purchase other forms of transportation: a surfboard, a snowboard, a metrocard. i live in the city which is a zillion times better than living at home. close to the action, still close to family (but not too close), and independent. i quit smoking! i'm still 200% single, but now that i'm out of the parents' house hopefully that will change. i survived a nyc transit strike and george bush has only 3 more years to go... i can't wait for the nation-wide farewell party.

things don't always seem to work out as planned, but looking back is fun and enlightening. in the words of jack johnson, 'slow down everyone... you're moving too fast'.

love you all! (does anyone even read this?) and happy new year!
