Back to Work

this sucks. the island-hopping commute is draining my energy. for all you sportsfans, i am now working at cornell med. i split my time between the division of infectious diseases and the division of hematology/oncology. so on a given day, my interesting mix of responsibilities might include interviewing an HIV adolescent on his/her sex history, preparing blood samples, doing data entry for clinical trials, and writing research protocols. too bad i'm not pre-med anymore... i think i have mastered the art of lying in interviews. while at work this week, i thought for a second (like, less than a second), that med school probaby wouldn't be all that bad. but i should be living for myself right? not the wishes of my parents... (there's prolly a better way of putting that)

anyway, in the short term, i'm looking forward to frequent lunches with robby, bless, and jaz (we're the Cornell FOUR!) and more happy hours on the UES.

i am listening to jack johnson's on and on album. so relaxing... it is putting me in the mood for hawaii. (and THC). "what would you do if i wrote you a song, would you give me some loving when i get home."
